Do you offer volume-based price breaks?
Yes:
10K+ records = 5% discount
25K+ records = 10% discount
50K+ records = 20% discount
What does the "M" in your pricing mean?
Per thousand. For example, "$300/M" means $300 per thousand.
Do you sell unlimited-use lists?
No, to protect the privacy of our list members and the power of our data, we only rent.
Where do Legal Opt-In's data come from?
Naturally, specifics are proprietary, but, as our datacards describe: "On-line opt-in form, law school and other public directories, public filings, conference materials, and Internet sources."
Can you provide usage information?
The Legal Masterfile list is used on average 2 or 3 times a week, with count requests coming in at about twice that rate. List sizes vary widely, some as high as 60K records, but typically a list includes 5K-15K records. A list of recent clients is available upon request.
Your datacard says you are a publishing firm. What are some of your legal publications?
Our company has published, distributed and/or authored numerous magazine articles for the specialized legal/technical market, The Internet Lawyer newsletter, and books: How to Use the Internet for Legal Research, The Internet Fact-Finder for Lawyers, and others.
How long has the company been in operation?
Since 2001.
What are your payment terms?
New customers must prepay. For orders of $4,000 or more, 50% of the total is due in advance. For most other orders, terms are Net 30.
Do you accept payment by credit card or e-check?
We expect to have this capability in mid-2009.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept checks and wire transfers; the latter involves a $25 fee.
Can you help me find a specific lawyer?
No, we are not a directory, but a list-data provider.
Can you provide references?
Yes, upon request.
